NRK-49F Rat renal cells

The NRK-49F cell line was established by Delarco JE from normal renal tissue of rats and represents a subclone of NRK (normal rat kidney) cells. These cells exhibit contact inhibition (preventing overgrowth), are sensitive to chemical or viral transformation, and serve as an appropriate transfection host. It has been reported that NRK-49F cells express the EGF receptor and possess proliferation-stimulating activity (MSA).

Freezing conditions:  90% FBS (SD0200) + 10% DMSO

Complete cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum)(SD0001)
