Mycoplasma: The smallest prokaryotic organism currently discovered, with approximately 15-35% of

 cells being contaminated by Mycoplasma. Mycoplasma contamination can alter the structure and 

function of host cells, leading to unstable experimental results. Regular detection of Mycoplasma is 

necessary for cultured cells. This product kit uses multiple sets of primer probes to detect 

Mycoplasma DNA in the FAM channel, and probes to detect reference DNA in the HEX channel. 

The detection targets are the supernatant of cell culture or the cells themselves.
