DAMI

A new strain of human megakaryocytes (Dami) was established from the blood of a patient with megakaryocytic leukaemia. This cell grew predominantly in suspension with a doubling time of 24-30 hours. At least 89% of the cells react with monoclonal antibodies to platelet glycoprotein (GP) lb and Ilb/llla and blood group glycoproteins. They do not react with antibodies against lymph gland, monocyte, granulocyte and macrophage antigens.Dami cells provide an excellent model for studying megakaryocyte biochemistry and differentiation. Problematic cell line: Contaminated. 90%1640(MD0200)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)
