StainIN ™ Green nucleic acid staining is a safer substitute than ethidium bromide.

It is also easy to use, 4 times more sensitive (under blue LED) and safer. Compared with other green dyes, this kind of dye is more economical. Compared with ethidium bromide, its use and treatment have less impact on the environment and health.

It is a fluorescent dye that can detect DNA>0,1 ng in agarose and polyacrylamide gel. It combines with dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA. When it combines with DNA, it emits green fluorescence. When it combines with RNA, it emits red fluorescence. It can be detected under ultraviolet or blue light, and records the same traces as similar green dyes.

StainIN ™ GREEN is an ideal choice for extracting DNA from gel for cloning. Ames test showed that its carcinogenicity was less than that of ethidium bromide. Mammalian cell mutagenicity test, mouse bone marrow erythrocyte micronucleus test and spermatocyte chromosome aberration test were all negative.

The DNA ladder is used for electrophoresis using highQu. Use SteinIN ™ Red nucleic acid staining, in case you stay on the ethidium bromide filter to take photos.
