Nthy-ori 3-1 Human Thyroid Follicular Epithelial Cells

The department was established by Dr. D. Winford-Thomas, Department of Pathology, University of Wales Medical School. The thyroid follicular epithelium of 35-year-old normal women was sampled. After SV40 immortalization treatment, several different functions of thyroid epithelial cells were preserved, and they were identified and stored without mycoplasma/STR.

Morphology: epithelial cell-like, adherent growth

Medium Formulation:

90% 1640 base (MD0200)+10% FBS (SD0200)+2mM glutamine (SD0007)+1% GA (SD0038)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)
