HEY Human Ovarian Cancer Cells

Sampling from female patients, HEY human ovarian cancer cell line originated from human ovarian cancer xenograft (HX-62), and initially grew in the peritoneal deposits of patients with moderately differentiated papillary cystadenocarcinoma of the ovary. The growth ability of the cell line as a xenograft in semi-solid culture and immune deficient CBA/CJ mice was different. HEY cell line showed a certain degree of resistance to the alkylating agent cisdiamine dichlorplatin (II) (cisplatin). It was identified as free of mycoplasma/STR and put into storage.
