SV-HUC-1 Immortalized Cells Of Human Ureteral Epithelium

This cell line was established by normal ureteral tissue transfected with SV40 virus. The production of infectious SV40 was detected repeatedly with the African green monkey kidney cell plate test, and the results were negative. The virus may be activated under stress (such as exposure to chemical agents). ATCC also has a chemically transformed tumorigenic cell line, MC-SV-HUC T2, catalog number CRL-9519, which has been identified as mycoplasma free/STR.

Morphology: epithelial-like, adherent growth

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions;

90% F12K (MD0400)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+1% GA (SD0038)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)
