B95-8 LEUKOCYTES TRANSFORMED BY EBV IN MONKEY

The B95-8 cell line is derived from the white blood cells of rhesus monkeys exposed to EB virus extracted from human white blood cells. B95-8 is a continuous strain of EB virus with high titer. This cell line provides EB virus for the establishment of a human continuous lymphocyte line. Through mycoplasma detection in this library.

Tissue and Cell Type: peripheral blood lymphocytes

Morphology: lymphoblast-like, suspended growth

Medium and Culture Conditions

RPMI 1640 (MD0200)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+1% GA (SD0038)

Link to complete medium: RPMI 1640 complete medium (MD0201)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
