TT Human Thyroid Cancer Cells

TT cells were established from biopsy samples of 77-year-old female patients with medullary thyroid carcinoma. TT cells continue to produce high levels of calcitonin and CEA. The concentration of calcitonin with immune activity detected in the medium at 24 hours and 72 hours after changing the medium was 3900 pg/million cells and 7700 pg/million cells, respectively. After 72 hours, the accumulated concentration of CEA exceeded 27 ng/million cells.
