Products Description
Background: The MH-S Cell Line Was Acquired From A 7 Week Old Male BALB/c J Mouse By Bronchoalveolar Lavage Followed By SV-40 Transformation Of An Additional Cell Enriched Population Of Alveolar Macros Many Properties Of Alveolar Macrophages Are Expressed With The Cells Being Phagocytic, Esterase Positive And Peroxidase Negative. The Intracellular T-antigen And Cell Surface Ia And Mac-1 Antigens Are Expressed As Well As Fc Receptors. IL-1 Is Constitutively Expressed And Can Be Increased By Stimulation With Lipopolysaccharides (LPS). A Cell Dependent Suppression Of The In Vitro Plaque Forming Cell (PFC) I-espouse By MH-S Cells Has Also Been Reported. Many Characteristics Of Alveolar Macrophages Are Phagocytosis, Esterase Positive And Peroxidase Negative. Intracellular T Antigen, Cell Surface Ia And Mc-1 Antigen And Fc Receptor Were Expressed. IL-1 Is Constitutively Expressed And Can Be Increased By Stimulation Of Lipopolysaccharide (LPS). In Vitro Platelet Forming Cells (PFC), Cellulose Dependent Inhibition Of MH-S Cells Has Also Been Reported.
