LC-2/AD Human Lung Cancer Adenocarcinoma Cells

Establishment of lung adenocarcinoma from pleural effusion in a 51-year-old Japanese woman. LC-2/ad cells are epithelial and tend to form small round mounds. Immunocytochemical staining showed that CEA and cytokeratin were positive, including cytokeratin No.18. LC-2/ad produces at least two functional and active trypsin inhibitors and several proteases in vitro, which are identified and stored without mycoplasma/STR.
