Human embryonic stem cell H1, formerly known as WA01.
This cell was established in 1998 by Professor James Thomson's team at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Thomson's team successfully isolated and established human embryonic stem cell lines for the first time. H1 was one of several core cell lines subsequently established, and other well-known human embryonic stem cell lines include H7 and H9.
Currently, around the P29 generation is available, with each cell revived to one T25, forming 30 to 40 clones after 7 to 10 days. The feeding layer is CF-1 MEF.
