Human type alveolar epithelial cells-

Human Type-II Pulmonary Alveolar Epithelial Cells (HPAEpiC-II) provided by AccGen have been isolated from human normal lung tissue. HPAEpiC-II are cryopreserved as primary cultures and delivered frozen. AccGen also offers optimized medium and reagents for the growth and in vitro maintenance of Human Type-II Pulmonary Alveolar Epithelial Cells which are quality tested together and guaranteed to give maximum performance as a global solution for in vitro HPAEpiC culture. These cells grow in spherules on Matrigel.

Medium Formulation:

90% DMEM (MD0100)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

DMEM complete medium (MD0118)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum)(SD0001)
