Glutaraldehyde stabilized red blood cells are produced from freshly washed hamster RBCs by brief exposure to a glutaraldehyde-buffer solution and exhaustive washing in saline. This treatment largely preserves the native antigenicity of the erythrocytes.
Medium Formulation:Hamster Red Blood Cell Culture Medium
Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.
Freezing: 5% DMSO+95% FBS
Cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum)(SD0001)
