Products Description

Human small cell lung cancer cells NCI-H889 [H889], also known as H-889 or NCIH889, are epithelial-shaped cell lines isolated by Gazdar AF and colleagues from the lung tissue of a 69-year-old white woman diagnosed with lung cancer. Compared to normal lung tissue, these cells expressed low levels of p53 mRNA (a mutation at base 725 of p53 with G→C causing the amino acid Cys →Ser at position 242) and a K-ras 12 mutation. These cells can be used for cancer research and three-dimensional cell culture.

Morphology:Epithelial, suspended growth, clustered or clustered

Culture Medium Formula:RPMI-1640 Complete Medium(MD0201)

Gas phase: Air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37℃.
