Neural Progenitor Cell Differentiation Medium

Neural precursor cell differentiation medium is a medium specially designed for the in vitro culture of normal human neural precursor cells.It is a sterile liquid culture medium containing essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals and a low concentration of fetal calf serum (1%).The medium is HEPES and bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in a 5% CO2/95% air incubator.The culture medium is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide a balanced nutritional environment that selectively supports the in vitro growth of normal neural precursor cells.
