AML12 (AML-12) Mouse Liver Parenchyma Cells

Through electron microscope observation, these cells showed typical hepatocyte characteristics, such as peroxisome and bile duct structure. The AML12 (mouse liver 12) cell line was constructed from the hepatocytes of transgenic mice (CD1 strain, MT42 strain) carrying human TGF - alpha gene. AML12 cells retained the expression serum (albumin α- 1 Antitrypsin and transferrin) and gap junction (connexins 26 and 32), and only contain the isoenzyme of lactate dehydrogenase 5. Each batch passed the detection of mycoplasma in this library, and the result was negative.
