GFP-HuASMCs are puromycin resistant cells selected from HuASMCs isolated from normal human aorta, after infected with GFP expressing lentiviral particles. The cells are shipped in frozen vials (the cells are provided @ passage 3-4). Smooth Muscle Cells (SMCs) Growth Medium is recommended for cell culture and these cells have a minimum average population doubling levels > 8 (2-3 passages) when cultured following the detailed protocol described below.

Medium Formulation:

Smooth Muscle Cell Culture Medium SMGCM (P3001)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum) (SD0001)
