Feline preadipocytes can be cultured as growing precursor cells or differentiated into adipocytes using medium supplemented with adipogenic and lipogenic hormones.
Medium Formula:
Fat cell medium ADM-b (P3300) 485ml;ADM Fat growth factor (P3302) : 5ml; FBS/ Fetal bovine Serum (SD0200) : 10ml; G/A (SD0038) : 5ml
Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.
Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)
Complete cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum)(SD0001)
