PEpGM Prostate Epithelial Cell Culture Medium

Prostate epithelial cells are a type of cell in prostate tissue and an important indicator for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Prostate epithelial cells usually exist in prostate fluid, and these epithelial cells have diverse morphologies, some of which are columnar. The PEpGM prostate epithelial cell culture medium has been optimized with multiple components, with a calcium content of 0.07 mM. Hormones and proteins required for prostate cell growth are added to this medium, which can maintain the maximum proliferation of prostate cells. Extracting primary prostate cells requires self prepared serum, which can be controlled at around 5%.
